Artwork Explained: Wise Spirit and Spirit

Artwork Explained: Wise Spirit and Spirit

This week we will be exploring the show-stopping artwork featured on the Wise Spirit and Spirit apparel ranges. The Spirit Owl ranges are made for dreamers, and for the individuals who wear their hearts on their sleeves and for those who have a lot of soul and spirit. This intricate, tribal inspired design features lace fine detail. The design comes in two vibrant colour variations. The Wise Spirit which is bright, happy and colourful for those who are bold and brave and Spirit a neutral black and white variation for those who like to keep it simple and celebrate the designs detail rather than it's vibrance.

The artwork consists of a water marked background of sacred geometry, which ascribes symbolic as well as sacred meanings to certain shapes and certain proportions in geometry. It is associated with the belief that a higher power is the geometer of the world. This is to symbolise spirit and the beauty and significance in the simple things of every day life. The main and front centre artwork consists of a totem stack with an intricate paisley detailed owl, on top of a skull on top of a bull skull. The owl represents a deeper connection with wisdom, good judgement and knowledge. Owls also represent a dynamic shift in ones everyday life as you know it.

This can be due to a shift in spirit, intuition and knowledge. The change may not be monumental but it can push one to leave old habits behind and grab the opportunity to create new and healthy ones. This can also usher in newer and better things that can improve your life and take it to a new direction. The owl totem also means that you can see beyond the masks that people wear and determine which people have the best and most noble intentions from those who have not.

This owl totem stacked on top of the skull and the bull skull represents finding this enlightenment in life before one crosses from this life into the next, and showcases adopting the habits and lessons an owl represents and supports in order to live a mortal life that is true, insightful and fruitful. The human skull represents these principles in human life and the bull skull represents these principles in the life of nature. The design is further all encompassed by sacred geometry and feathers. Feathers as a symbol across many cultures have always represented a connection to spiritual realms and to divinity. Because of their connection to birds, they have also always been a symbol of flight and freedom, not just physically, but also in a mental or spiritual sense

We hope you love this design just as much as we do and we hope you find your enlightenment in life through spirit and wisdom.
